About PPK Mining Equipment
PPK Mining Equipment specialises in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of underground mining equipment, tooling, and consumables for mining and related industries.
Our company is rapidly expanding and we currently looking for a Workshop Fitter to join our team in Industrial Drive, Emerald.
This role is full-time, Monday to Friday.
We have a large, clean and modern workshop in Emerald, with plenty of space and parking.

This role could be suitable for fitters, hydraulics technicians, light vehicle mechanics, plant mechanics and service technicians.
You will be joining our established team including our Fitters, Field Service, Stores and Admin team members.
These are full-time roles with an immediate start at our Emerald service centre.
Skills and experience
We’re looking for people with the following skills and qualifications:
- Trade Qualification
- Previous experience in a similar role
- High level of diagnostic skills
- Demonstrated commitment to WHS.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Current drivers' licence
Preferable but not essential
- Diesel Engine Systems Certification
- Have hydraulic experience & qualifications.
- Forklift licence
- Overhead crane licence
- Experience in Driftrunners, JUG-A-0s and Eimco maintenance (preferable not essential)
